State-Required Security Guard Renewal Course

This 8-hour Annual In-Service Training Course is a mandatory requirement by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for all licensed security guards. It must be completed every year to maintain an active security guard license in New York.

Course Description

This course fulfills the annual in-service training requirement set by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for licensed security guards. Completion Requirements

  • Pass the written exam with at least 70%

CEU Information

This course qualifies for 0.8 IACET CEUs upon successful completion. CEUs will be awarded after Tribune Training Academy receives full IACET accreditation.
