Overview of NYS Security Guard Act, roles and responsibilities, legal powers and limitations, ethics and professional conduct, communication skills and public interaction, access control and patrol procedures, and observation and incident reporting.
16-Hour On-the-Job Training (In-Person)
Patrol techniques and site responsibilities, emergency response procedures, report writing and documentation, workplace safety and hazard awareness, conflict resolution and de-escalation, terrorism awareness, suspicious activity recognition, customer service, professional behavior, and basic fire safety awareness.
Fireguard Exam Preparation (Online β Self-Paced)
Introduction to Fireguard roles and responsibilities, fire safety regulations and compliance, fire prevention practices, fire protection systems, emergency procedures, evacuation protocols, and identifying fire hazards.
Licensing & Exam Support
