Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) include several equipment types. This package covers boom lifts and scissor lifts through two separate courses; it does not cover every MEWP type.
Articulating and telescopic boom lift knowledge: equipment selection, controls, inspections, stability, fall protection, overhead and electrical hazards, travel and emergencies.
Electric slab and rough-terrain scissor lift knowledge: selection, pre-use inspections, guardrails and gates, ground support, stability, overhead hazards, travel and emergency planning.

Use Student Login to study each course. Complete its required videos, practices, learning-time requirements and final exam. Final-exam passing scores are 70%, with unlimited attempts.
Give the employer resources to your trainer or evaluator. Your employer arranges practical training, familiarization, evaluation and authorization for the actual equipment and worksite.
Both courses retain their own completion requirements and records. Completing one course does not complete the other.
Boom Lift provides 4 instructional hours and awards 0.4 CEU after qualifying completion. Scissor Lift provides 1 instructional hour and does not award CEUs. The package does not create an additional CEU award.
Included resources help employers plan and record inspections, familiarization, practical training, observed evaluation, corrective training and authorization limits.
Online knowledge completion and blank forms do not independently authorize equipment operation. Practical training and workplace evaluation must actually be conducted.
English narration and written materials; a current browser, reliable internet connection and working camera for course and exam photo checks. You do not need equipment access to complete the online knowledge instruction.
